Let’s talk about “stuff.”
Hi friends. Now that Holly’s in the House Organizing is up and running full speed, I have so much to share about all things home. I’m passionate about helping you make the most of your home. I want you to have room to breathe and time to do what matters to you, without stuff getting in the way. So, let’s talk about “stuff.”
As we’re busy living, we accumulate stuff. Some of it is useful and enjoyable (the coffee maker, a favorite outfit), but when stuff is no longer useful (a kitchen gadget that we don’t use or clothes that don’t fit), it becomes a pile of decisions to make—do we hang on to it because we might need it someday or out of obligation, or do we find a new home for it (and how)?
When you’re surrounded by lots of decisions to make, it can weigh you down. This is why when I complete a job, my clients often say, “I feel so much lighter!” Once the clutter has been cleared, they are left with what they use and enjoy.
What is getting in the way of your home being beautiful and functional? Is it a backlog of mail and schoolwork, overflowing kitchen cabinets, or items given to you by a family member? It’s important to be realistic about how much room you have and what you are really using in your current lifestyle. Create a home that works for your life now, so you can live in the present.
If you’re ready to deal with your stuff, I can help. I’d love to help declutter and organize your home, so that you can feel lighter. I specialize in helping busy families and those who are downsizing in Roswell, GA, and the surrounding communities.
